Online Roulette Bets
Roulette bets are easy to understand but knowing the house edge against any roulette bet will improve your winnings. This section contains the probability of winning, payoff and the casino edge.
Roulette has 2 minimum bets; outside bets, even money bets and 2 to 1 wagers, the other is inside bets; for number bets. There is usually no limit to the amount of minimum bets that can be made and the only limit is that a casino may impose is that of a maximum bet of usually $1000 on any single bet but it may be raised for the high-roller. Outside bets are usually required to be that of the table minimum but if you have fulfilled the minimum amount on a single outside bet you are usually able to place smaller bets on other outside bets. For example, once you have placed a $5 or more bet on any even money wager you are allowed to place $1 or more bets on any other outside bets. Any amount of Inside bets can be made as long as they total the minimum amount required. For example on a $5 dollar table you will be allowed to make 5 $1 inside bets (or more if you wish). TIP, your original bet stays on the table if you win unless you pick it up.
The following payouts are that of American Roulette, if you are a serious player I recommend you play at the European Roulette tables as the extra 00 stop in American Roulette increases the house edge by a massive 5.25%. Single 0 tables reduce the house edge to 2.70%.
